Behold the Wonder Women

And speaking of Gal Gadot’s winning Wonder Woman....

Her character, introduced at long last in this weekend’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (ditto Wonder Woman’s alter ego, Diana Prince), is getting her own stand-alone movie next summer.

Wonder Woman already has been teased, in photo form and via leaked revealed footage. Now, though, we have our first look-see at Gadot and no, not Chris Pine but Gadot and her fellow Amazon women, namely Connie Nielsen as her mother, Queen Hippolyta, and Robin Wright and Lisa Loven Kongsli (Force Majeure) as her aunts, Antiope and Menalippe.

Monster’s Patty Jenkins is directing the June 2017 tentpole.
