HAMILTON, Ill. -- Pop star Justin Bieber is making an unexpected overnight stop in Hamilton.Hamilton Police Chief Robb Bell told local news media that the air conditioning on Bieber's bus broke down while he was traveling from Des Moines, Iowa, to his next concert site in Cincinnati. So he and his entourage took up residence for the night at the Hoffman Mansion in Hamilton.Bieber's security team contacted Bell because a large number of fans had gathered outside the mansion, which is gated on a large tract of land. Bieber reportedly was not going to come out of the building.Several Hamilton police officers and some troopers from the Illinois State Police were on the scene to keep traffic moving.A spokesman at the Hamilton police station said Bell was not available for comment but confirmed that Bieber was staying at the mansion. The airbnb.com website shows the Hoffman Mansion listed for rent at $10,000 a night.
