When it comes to throwback Thursdays, The Chainsmokers may have completely won them all. The DJs took things way back yesterday (Dec. 8) to Justin Bieber's peak Purpose period when his hit singles first started coming out last year. (Being able to post a #TBT with the Biebs is pretty impressive.)
The clip Alex Pall and Drew Taggart shared was an old video of them getting the ultimate pep talk from Justin right before one of their 2015 Friend Zone Tour concerts in Los Angeles. At the time, Justin wasn't only there to be the voice of reason, but to also deliver a surprise performance of his own. And speaking of friendship, theirs dates way back — they connected through videographer Rory Kramer, and it's that bond that seems to have only brought them closer together as they've achieved even more success.
Both Justin and the DJ group scored major nominations at this year's Grammys with Alex and Drew landing a chance at the coveted "Best New Artist" award. Performances have also yet to be announced, so maybe they'll make an appearance on stage together again.
